My name is Priyanka Gulati. I am a recent graduate of American University. I majored in Political Science and received a double minor in Marketing and Communications.

I’m seeking a wide variety of communications roles in the political and non-profit sector.

I am in flux between Washington D.C. and the New York Metro area due to Covid-19 but I can always be found with my nose in a book or watching a film. Check out my book reviews here.

During my time at American University, I focused research on a number of public policy issues like healthcare, education, and immigration – as well as taking an interest in Indian politics. I also served as a facilitator for two projects promoting accessible dialogue about current events between community members. Over the course of four years, I developed a deep passion for concise and informative communication

Social Media

I’ve run large social media pages for publications and helped organizations revise and revitalize their social media strategy. I specialize in Twitter and seek to create a highly specific personal brand for every page.

Qualitative Research

My past research has covered a wide range of topics from Indian political history to the medical deserts in D.C. I have also facilitated small group trials to test new SM strategies and discussion modules.

Long Form Writing

I am a writer at heart and while I love to share my own observations and opinions, I can write in a variety of styles - from short statements to speeches and articles.

Outside of the application process, I am spending my time pitching freelance articles and developing a range of pieces for my Medium blog.
